Introductory Creative Writing

Introductory Creative Writing

In our exciting Creative Writing classes, students explore words and ideas, and learn how to craft a beautiful story. They will learn how to create vivid imagery, apply figurative language, and master the art of metaphor in their stories. They will also work on improving their diction, vocabulary, and grammar.

Introductory-level students write short stories to learn about different genres of writing. Students will also learn about characterization, conflict, perspective, and other literary devices. Students will also work on improving the mechanics of their writing, specifically their grammar and vocabulary.
