Introductory Global Thinking
What are designer babies? Is it possible to clone a human being? Will we ever really colonise Mars?
In order to answer these questions, students need to learn how to think critically about today's globalised world. In Global Thinking, students learn how to analyze the elements that drive current events, and how to speak and write about those elements with confidence and clarity. We tackle these touch social and cultural issues through fun, interactive class debates and discussions.
This course combines three of our most popular courses: Critical Writing, Debate, and Public Speaking. Each class will focus on one of these skills, and the following week will focus on another, and so on. This rotation allows students to build a diverse range of crucial skills.
