Key Qualifications:
Norman Kolpas is a veteran teacher and accomplished editor and publisher. Norman, who graduated from Yale with a degree in English Literature, has spent his career writing across genres, primarily non-fiction. He has written over 2000 articles for magazines and newspapers, including Bon Appétit and Western Art & Architecture. He has also written over 40 non-fiction books, including Julia Child’s Southwest Beautiful Cookbook, and edited over 100 books on diverse subjects, including art, cooking and design. He was also a ghostwriter for celebrities and famous organizations including Wolfgang Puck, Jane Fonda, and the Mayo Clinic. Norman has also been a writing teacher since 1989, most notably at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he won the “Outstanding Instructor in Creative Writing” award in 2014.
